B.F.F.

I have so many people that I call a friend , not an acquaintance:  a person whom one knows but who is not a particularly close friend. I have met them through work, after all, when you work forty hours a week, they are the ones you spend all your time with. I also have others, not met at work. How do you know when a friend is a friend? Here is a quote I like: 'Everyone is a friend, until they prove otherwise.'--this is so true. A friend is a friend when... You can call on them for anything, and not feel like you owe them one, and same for them. You love them for all their faults, no matter what. You can not talk to them for a long period of time, then pick right back up where you left off. You have some things in common, but not everything. You can agree to disagree, and not think anything different of each other. You don't judge each other. They know everything about you and still like you.
