Let's Recap 2010

This will kind of give you an idea of how I think. When I reflect on 2010, of course all the really big, or most recent things come to mind- L got married, Christmas was wonderful, we had a blast at the beach, we moved, and so on. But to really sit down and look over 2010 I just run down month by month and look at all my pictures. I wish I had a way to count all the pictures I took-it would take days!! So here is a fun recap of THEPRICEPRESS 2010
January 7th was the first snow!
February 12th it snowed again!
March it snowed some more!!
In March we went with some friends (with $1 seats) to Atlanta Motor Speedway and got to see one of the biggest accidents of the season right in front of us...Redneck I know!
March 20th M's brother got married!!
April we got to celebrate Jesus's Resurrection. And my 27th birthday.
May we had lots of ups and downs-M started working nights, and it really was not a fun adjustment!! And he turned 27th, too! =)
June we went to the beach for several days and had a blast! C loved the pool and the beach!

Also in Sept M and I celebrated our 6th Anniversary!
Oh and in Sept we went to Tybee Island for Labor Day. C loved laying on the beach watching the fireworks!
October we moved! And in Oct, I jumped head first into extreme couponing. It is a pretty neat world! And C was a 'rog' for Halloween!
November my sweet sister got married to her BFF.
November my baby turned 2 yrs old!
December M got a new job...a lot closer to home!!!!
And we ended the year celebrating the birth of our Saviour!

Ready, Set, Home Study!

Home study is a term we have learned since being apart of the adoption world.  We applied to have ours on Monday and they called back yesterday and we set it up for next week.  We know it's a lot of paper work and that we will have to do finger prints, and background checks, but that is all we know for now. We are looking into some fundraisers as well.  I will keep you posted about those as soon as we decide.

Four Months Late... Who's Counting?

I love throwing Caden's birthday party! I love to let him pick a theme and then we run with it. He is very creative and helps me with a lot of the planning. Yes, He's was 4, but it's his party. No, I didn't take all his ideas. Maybe just one. But we had fun. This year we did a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle party! YES TMNT ! Just where did he learn about them? He found a stash of his Daddy's old VHS movies. We have a DVD/VHS combo so we get to watch a lot of the classics. He had only watched a few, but he fell in love with them. So about the time we were planning his party he was watching the movies about two times a day. Interesting enough they were coming back! Yes, Like in the stores. Way better, too! Invites I found a cute photo online and printed them in a 4x4 square. I used 'Paint' to make the pizza. Took them to Office Depot and they printed them. I made a 'pizza box' out of card stock. Don't ask me how I did it, I just folded an...

We're Back!

So I wanted to try to start blogging again. I went to my blog and I can't figure out how to work it. It's different, and I couldn't make it cute. So have moved back to Blogger. Here we are. This is my favorite time of year to do fun Pinterest crafts, so watch out! I will try to feed the family and wash clothes, but for the most part, you can find me some where doing a DIY project. 'Til then-Bye!
