Two In Two Days

Two days from now you will be two years old! Over that past year you have become such a little man. You have learned so much and have really acquired a personality. At the end of November 2009, you got to meet almost all of your family on your Mommy's side. For Thanksgiving almost all of Mimi's family came into town for the weekend. March you were in Uncle Matthew's wedding. You and Tiffany's cousin's little boy were the 'stars of the show'. Everyone was so entertained by you two. You wanted to pick up all the flowers that the flower girls dropped! Starting out early summer you got to fish with your Daddy. Mother's Day we had a picnic at Lanier.  Later that month you got to ride on Paw Paw's boat. (which he soon there after sold =( )  You got to spend two weeks at the beach. Which you loved swimming and playing in the sand or in the water's edge. There you really started talking. You said 'bo' (boat), 'gactor' (tractor), 'b...

My World

This is my blog that I use to update my friends and family. It's to help keep everyone connected and to update those who do not live nearby. I kind of use it to get rid of stress too! So I say this to say, I have been very selective as to who I am friends with on Facebook and who I email my blog link to, this is to protect me and my family. Notice I only use our initials when I talk about us. So, I would appericate it if you are one of the ones that I let have the link to my blog that you read it for fun and not use it against me, or share it with others to judge me or my family or the way we do things and who we are. I feel like as my friend or family member I have trusted you to open up my family to you and would hope that you would not share my life with people that I don't trust. Thank you for following us and I hope you enjoy all the little updates of ThePricePress!!

And Here We Go!

Well, we have managed to keep C out of most things that would make a mess or mess up something, but because we are packing things are out of place and just a mess here at the house. We've had dinner in the living room in from of the tv-against our rules, and Mr. C is getting into everything!!! Last night he got a hold of a permanet maker...black at that! And I promise he was not quiet for 5 minutes before I went to see what he was into. He had written on most of the boxes in the house, he had written down the hall walls, the office door, HIMSELF, a dvd cover, the top of the tv (it was on the floor), the carpet and my dish towel! So I freak out and call Michael to blame him for leaving the marker where C could reach it-to learn, I   was the last to use it! Oops! So I look up on line how to get it off of walls, doors, people, etc...IT WORKED. Nail polish remover! So I have a few pictures to share with you. My Mom said, My cousin and I used a red and black crayon on her wal...

B.F.F.

I have so many people that I call a friend , not an acquaintance:  a person whom one knows but who is not a particularly close friend. I have met them through work, after all, when you work forty hours a week, they are the ones you spend all your time with. I also have others, not met at work. How do you know when a friend is a friend? Here is a quote I like: 'Everyone is a friend, until they prove otherwise.'--this is so true. A friend is a friend when... You can call on them for anything, and not feel like you owe them one, and same for them. You love them for all their faults, no matter what. You can not talk to them for a long period of time, then pick right back up where you left off. You have some things in common, but not everything. You can agree to disagree, and not think anything different of each other. You don't judge each other. They know everything about you and still like you. Friends stand up for you, when no one else does. Friends l...

Fractured Fairy Tales

OK, so most of you know we are no longer going to our church here in Dawonville. But that's a different story for a very different day. Anyways, the church I've been going to, I've really enjoyed. Our current series is 'Fractured Fairy Tales'. Numbers 80:7-12. He says that fairy tales are great, but they leave us thinking we should all have happy endings. That is not the way life is. Last week was about Jacob, how he was not the one that made the bad decisions, but he was 'fractured' because of his brother's choices. God uses evil for good. Sometimes others make our fairy tale fractured. This week we talked about Moses, how he had his own idea of how he wanted things to be and he didn't obey God, therefore he fractured his fairy tale. Life is a roller coaster, no matter how much we love God. We tend to want to push the blame, or push it to the limits. When we go through our fractures, we want to blame God, or others. We are so kin to Adam and Ev...

Ticky

If you are not aware, my husband is obsessed with fishing. He has passed this crazy trait, so soon might I add, to our son. C loves 'tickies'. This is what he calls fish, fishing poles, and fishing lures. He has a hat that says, Future Fisherman. And he loves it! The other day his grandmother and I were at the store and she found some socks she wanted to buy him. We were having trouble finding his size. So I dug through them and found a few little ones. They had Nemo socks. She gave them to him as soon as she got in the car. He wore them home, and to bed! He loved his ticky socks! When we got home, I was unpacking our clothes and he found them. He wanted me to put them on him, so I did. Because these socks were such a hit, I had to get a picture of two of him in them. So I said, "C, let me take a picutre of you with your fishy socks on." And here is what he did!!! He wanted me to take 'moa' (more), so he held up the other foot!

My Crazy Kid

(He's laying down on the kitchen floor, where the air vent blows the cold air!) I have on my desktop a folder labeled, Goofy C. I have always loved taking pictures! Having C has just made it that much more fun! So, because I love to do it, he has become a bit of a ham. Let me share... This, that is wrapped around him, is a gold table runner. He found it at my parent's house and was playing with it one day. M, my brother tied it around him and he loved it! So now every time we go there he gets it out and wants M, to 'buckle' it around him!! The other day I was putting away laundry and he was playing in my pool/beach bag and found these... Once I put them on him, he walked carefully to Daddy to show him! That same night, he was playing in my full length mirror. He would say, Momma! Then I would look at him and he'd laugh! He thought he was so funny, looking at me through the mirror. He loves bath time! He will play in there all day if I let him! He says, 'bubble...
